Diversity in Flora and Fauna
India is home to several of the world’s large mammals including the Elephant, the Royal Bengal
Tiger, the Lion, the Rhinoceros and the Bison. It is the world’s 8th most biodiverse region
comprising of desert, high mountains, forests, swamplands, grasslands, areas surrounding rivers, as
well as islands. Animals, Trees and everything that nature has given us is prayed in the form of
deity in this country.
This coach depicts some of the animal species unique to India including the Asiatic Elephant, Gir
Lion, Royal Bengal Tiger, Spotted Deer, One Horned Rhino, Bison, Red Panda and the national
bird, Peacock.
