The whole of India is spread with structures relating to different faiths. These structures date
back from ancient times to modern structures. The ruling clans/dynasties erected structures in
reverence of their presiding deities. With the Islamic invaders capturing territories during the
followed by the Western invasion of Christian faith, the country has structures dating from the
ancient tantric practices to the modern day Guru followers. On this coach, you will see the
Kamakhya Temple (Assam), which is one of the oldest Shaktipeeth (temple dedicated to the
divine female form as Shakti – Energy), Bara Imambara or Asfi Imambara (Uttar Pradesh), a
place of congregation and the modern day Swami Narayan Akshardham Temples at Gandhinagar
(Gujarat) and Daman. The Neermahal and Ujayanta Palace in Tripura, although built by Hindu
rulers, are built in Neoclassical architecture representing an amalgamation of architectural styles.
