BACKGROUND
1. e-Ticketing website of IR provides the facility of online passenger
reservation in any of the 13500 trains being run over IR touching the
lives of most citizens for their rail travel needs.
2. Ever since the launch of e-Ticking in 2005, we have strived to bring
about continuous improvements
3. The launch of New Generation e-Ticketing system in 2013 and its
subsequent upgrades have multiplied the booking capacity of the
PRS, which have helped in catering to the growing demands.
4. The limitations in user personalization and multiple stage selection
for reservation were realized
